There is now longer any doubt that our climate is changing and that this change is the result of human modification of our natural environment on a global scale. The overwhelming majority of scientific experts agree on this fundamental point.
This climate change has been brought about through burning fossil fuels, through land clearing and as a result of agriculture. Again, no one disputes this as a matter of science.
Futureenergy.org has compiled information to help you come to grips with this earth-critical issue. Read on. Consider the negative changes to our environment that have already occurred. Consider the range of predictions likely to occur.
The seriousness of what faces us cannot be understated. The internationally accepted range of global warming over the 21st century is 1.4% to 5.8%. Even the lower end of this range will have dramatic effects on our children's and grandchildren's planet. By 2050, as a result of climate change, 25% of the earth's species are expected to become extinct and up to 150 million refugees will be on the move.
Read on and learn about our climate crisis.
But remember: we have no time to waste. ACT now!
